Lesson 1 Lesson 2 Lesson 3 Lesson 4 Lesson 5 Lesson 6

Description

This is an example for a more realistic setting. Head-in, a chorus of improvisation and head-out. The Left hand has to be save, then you can start to improvise with chord tones. Try the same arpeggio over every chord (e.g. third fifth seventh ninth). A way to make the solo more interesting is to imply double time in the right hand (by playing swinging 16th) while the left hand plays like before.

Learning Goals

  • Find chord notes in the right hand.
  • Try normal time and double time.
